Companies are also members of society that have a responsibility and an obgligation to contribute to the development of the local community. Chain stores in particular have this responsibility because they rely on community support, and as they develop, so does the community. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that this bond with the local community is perhaps the most important thing to a chain store's existence.
To a retailer, the most important contribution a company can provide a community with is supplying the community with goods that are both high quality and low priced to enrich its residents' lives. CAINZ' dedication to EDLP (EveryDay Low Pricing), among other things, is the reason why we are proud to announce that our contribution to the development of the community is greater than any other company's.

Saving resouces and food with a recycling-focused consumption policy

We are working on implementing a recycling-focused consumption policy for all members of the CAINZ group which consists of supermarkets, convenience stores, consumer electronics, car accesory stores, and workwear specialty stores. We need to protect the environment together through conservation and responsible resource management.
For example, our "CAINZ Recycled Compost" is a result of our environmentally-focused policy and the cooperation of the group. While providing our contracted farmers with fertilizer, pesticide, and raw materials, we als provide them with professional consultations regarding soil usage and production efficiency. We buy all of the produce grown by our farmers, and these are either sold at Beisia supermarkets or used as ingredients in SaveOn products. Any food scraps from SaveOn lunch boxes, for example, are taken are returned to the farms for use as fertilzer or feed. This recycling process not only reduces our operational costs, but it also provides safe food for our customers.

Supporting regional identity

We support all kinds of programs that promote regional individuality and culture
CAINZ Culture Classrooms, mainly featured in CAINZ Super Home Centers, are enjoyed by many of our local customers. There are close to 30 different classes, and all of them are run together with the community which provides both the lectureres and the students. Many of those who participate are young housewivesand small children, but the annual total of Culture Classroom participants has reach 30,000 people. We have formed clubs for Culture Classroom graduates and provide various kinds of support to those who wish to pursue a more culturally fulfilling lifestyle.
The number of competitors in the CAINZ Handicraft Contest has been increasing year after year. Right now there are over 1,000 applicants.
